Instagram May Let Users See Verified
Instagram is taking a page from X’s book, testing an option that would let users see verified-only feeds.
X recently made a change that allowed users to restrict replies to verified accounts. According to The Verge, Instagram is testing a similar feature, one that would allow users to see content from Meta Verified accounts.
“We’re exploring this as a new control for people and a way for businesses and creators to get discovered,” CEO Adam Mosseri wrote.
Only time will tell if the feature will be a success, but social platforms are clearly looking for ways to push engagement and adoption of their premium offerings.
